Submitting an Abstract

Abstracts must be sent through the conference website. Please note the following:

• All abstract summaries must be uploaded to the system in English.
• Abstracts sent by post or fax will not be evaluated.

Abstract Evaluation and Notification of Results

• Submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Abstract Review Committee through a blinded review process, in which the names and affiliations of the authors will not be disclosed to the reviewers.
• Based on the evaluation, abstracts will be accepted for either oral or poster presentation.
• The evaluation results will be communicated to the authors by email before 31 January 2027.
• All correspondence regarding submitted abstracts will be conducted with the submitting author through the contact details provided in the submission system.

Oral and Poster Presentations

• Accepted abstracts will be presented orally or in poster form.
• Oral Abstracts will be prepared and presented in an electronic format (PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi etc.) and the allocated time for oral presentations will be announced after the abstract evaluation process is complete.
• Poster abstracts will be prepared for physical display on poster boards at the congress.

Publishing and Distributing Abstracts

• Oral and poster abstracts will be published on the congress website after the congress.
• For abstract summaries to be accepted, the presenting author must register for the Congress.

Poster Presentations

• Your poster design must be prepared as a PDF file.
• Posters must be prepared in portrait orientation, measuring 70 cm in width and 90 cm in height.
• Posters should be designed to be easily readable from a distance of at least 1 metre.
• Accepted posters as determined by the Abstract Review Committee will be displayed in the designated poster area on the dates and at the locations specified by the Organizing Committee.
• Posters should be mounted using the adhesive putty provided by the Organizing Committee. No other mounting materials will be permitted.
• Assistance will be available from the Organizing Committee for mounting posters.

• File size must be smaller than 10MB.
• Files will only be accepted in PDF format.

Abstract Requirements

• The complete text must be in A4 format (21 x 29.7 cm). Left, right, top and bottom margins each must all be 2.5 cm.
• Title must be font size 12, bold, first letters capitalized, and centered.
• Author names, institutions and e-mails must follow the title.
• Body text must be in Times New Roman font. Abstract title must be centered, with 1.5 line spacing, font size 14 and first letters capitalized. The title must be concise and informative with no abbreviations.
• Abstract must be in English and must not exceed one page total, text no more than 400 words.
• Charts and pictures must not exceed the page margins.
• Include one blank row between sections (e.g.: Introduction, Methods, Conclusion, References).
• References must be at the end, listed alphabetically; in text references and citations must be in AMA (numerical) format.
• References must be numbered using squared brackets (e.g.: [1]).
